Disable background data

By default all android applications that you download are set to use data in the background. To prevent data from being used in the background

1. Open up Settings on your device

2. Locate and tap Data usage

3. Locate the app you want to prevent using your data in the background

4. Scroll to the bottom of the app listing

5. Tap to enable Restrict background data

You can see which how much data has been used by each application on your device . 

You will need to disable background data use for each application that you do not want to use you data .
